Whichford House
We are currently delivering an ongoing package of works at Whichford House, a Grade II* listed property in Warwickshire. The house, dating from the late 16th century with early 18th-century additions, sits within the Whichford Conservation Area and the Cotswolds Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Our scope focuses on sensitive internal reconfigurations and bespoke joinery packages, designed to carefully respond to the building’s layered historic fabric. Interventions have been guided by heritage considerations in respect of the house’s architectural and cultural significance, ensuring alterations are sympathetic and enhance the qualities of the existing interiors. The works are guided by an attention to detail, craftsmanship, and longevity, enriching the experience of the interiors while safeguarding the integrity of the building as a whole.
This project continues Assorted Studio’s exploration of retrofit and interior alterations within sensitive historic contexts, combining architectural precision with a respect for heritage and place.
